Alessandro Toscani confirmed in the Sonepar Padova roster that will face the 2025_26 SuperLega season. The libero born in 1998, originally from Ortona, will wear the black and white jersey for the second consecutive season, ready to experience his third year overall in the top national series.
Having arrived in the city in the shadow of the Saint in the summer of 2024, Toscani took the first steps of his career with the team of his hometown, Sieco Service Ortona, and then gained experience in Serie A2 with GoldenPlast Potenza Picena, BCC Castellana Grotte and Agnelli Tipiesse Bergamo, before making his debut in the SuperLega with Perugia.
On his relationship with the city and the Padua environment, the libero from Abruzzo began: “At a team level it was a very positive year: we created a fantastic group, with people I already knew and others with whom I made new friends, and I really enjoyed myself. Padua is a splendid city, big but not chaotic, and where I settled in from day one. I also enjoyed myself with the club, starting from the staff to all the people who gravitate around the company. It was a very positive year from a human and sporting point of view and I am really happy to be here”.
