Allianz Milano kicked off its new six-on-six season on Friday afternoon with its first joint training session at the Pavesi Fipav Center, where coach Nicola Daldello’s team faced Mint Vero Volley Monza. It was a useful session to test the work done in the gym and to begin regaining rhythm and understanding ahead of the upcoming official matches.

The match was a real workout in every sense, culminating in five sets of 15 points. Milan quickly broke the ice, winning the first set 15-7, displaying good aggression at the start and solidity in blocking and defense. Monza then took the measure of the game and won the next three sets (12-15, 13-15, 16-18), with Allianz taking the fifth, which ended 15-12. A positive outcome, which allowed the coaching staff to see the entire group and the new additions in action, with positive signs both in terms of fitness and game organization.
