Allianz Milano is pleased to announce the signing of Leonardo Barbanti, the new second setter for the 2025/2026 season in SuperLega. Born in 2006, born and raised in Modena, Barbanti is one of the most promising young players on the Italian volleyball scene.
185 cm tall, he trained in Anderlini, a reference club for youth volleyball and subsequently in Modena Volley, where he completed his youth career. In the last season he played in Serie B, standing out as one of the best setters of the tournament, and he also earned a call to the Under 20 National Team
“I started playing minivolley at the age of 6 at Anderlini and only 3 years later I was catapulted into the Under 11 with boys older than me. Three years later I made an important transition, that is from the Volleyball School to Modena Volley, where I returned with my peers: it was the beginning of the path that took me to the end of the youth team, with all the satisfactions I obtained.
