Tatarov with Allianz

Allianz Milano completes its roster for next season by adding a significant addition to its spikers department, announcing the arrival of Bulgarian international and 2025 World Cup runner-up Georgi Tatarov, who has already played a starring role in recent seasons in the SuperLega with Yuasa Battery Grottazzolina and in the Turkish league. Born in 2003, Tatarov, a six-foot-two, brings talent, physicality, and international experience to Milan despite his young age. In a season and a half with Grotta, he made 48 appearances and scored 478 points, earning an MVP award in the victory against Padova in January 2025. In the Italian league, he scored over 20 points three times, recording a personal best of 23 points against Allianz Milano at the Allianz Cloud in November 2024. This record was equaled last February in the away game in Trento.
