The Block Devils have landed in Brazil, where the 2025 Club World Cup kicks off next Tuesday, December 16th, with the first matches of the preliminary round. Sir Sicoma Monini Perugia, playing in Pool B, will take to the field for their first match against Libyan team Swehly Sports Club, kicking off at 5:30 PM Italian time. Today, the players completed an initial weights session in the gym and then played ball, focusing on serving and receiving, to immediately get back into the swing of things and recharge their muscles after the intercontinental trip.
The anticipation is growing, as is the excitement of those in the group who will be facing this competition for the first time, like director Bryan Argilagos, who immediately highlighted the high level of this edition: “It’s definitely a great experience. We know the level is very high at this World Cup, and we can’t wait to get started. We’re training tomorrow, and we definitely want to play and be ready.”
