Another extraordinary season has come to a close for the Diavoli Rosa – Powervolley Milano project, the first in which all youth teams competed under the Allianz Diavoli Powervolley name. Starting next fall, the name will also extend to women’s teams, again at the youth level, confirming the desire to further extend the values—not just competitive—of a model now recognized nationally and internationally. An elite team in the European landscape.
It’s also time to take stock of the project, led by three key figures: Fabio Lini, General Manager of Allianz Milano, Danilo Durand, Technical Director of Allianz Diavoli Powervolley, and Vanni Benenti, Head of the Allianz Milano Youth Sector. These three coaches, sports managers, and talent scouts have contributed to the development of some of the greatest champions of Italian volleyball over the past thirty years, dozens of Serie A players, and hundreds of athletes capable of upholding a sporting and human ethic in every context.
