Cisterna Volley is back to work preparing for their next match. On Sunday, January 4th, Morato’s team will play in Grottazzolina, the third round of the return leg. The standings speak for themselves: Cisterna (second to last) has a four-point advantage over the bottom-seeded team from the Marche region. It won’t be a decisive match, as there’s still a long way to go in the regular season, but it’s certainly a crucial one: winning it would mean taking a significant step towards staying up and allowing them to approach the rest of the matches with greater confidence.
Tommaso Barotto spoke about the match against Grottazzolina. We know how crucial the next match is; it’s a game we can’t afford to lose. Winning it would put us seven points ahead, a significant margin for the rest of the championship. They will certainly play the game of their lives; we must prepare for a heated atmosphere. From now until the end, we’ll need to take it game by game: we have the quality and ability to reach our goal. We’re training hard, both in the gym and with the ball, with maximum concentration: if it’s true that hard work always pays off, then we’ll be able to achieve our seasonal objective.
