Cisterna Volley returns to the court tomorrow (Saturday, September 20th) at the Cisterna sports hall (6:00 p.m.) to face Perugia again: a replay of last week’s joint training session at Pala Barton. In Umbria, Sir won 4-0, and Morato’s team is eager to improve on last week’s performance, trying not to repeat any of the mistakes made in Perugia.
Assistant coach Paolo Falabella introduced tomorrow’s test: “We analyzed in detail what went wrong last Saturday,” Falabella said. “First of all, we focused on serving: the error rate wasn’t high, but at the same time, we weren’t very aggressive, and against an opponent who’s very difficult to break, being less incisive in this fundamental pays off. Then we looked at reception: here too, we didn’t perform badly, we didn’t concede too high a percentage of aces, but there’s a lot to improve. These are the aspects we focused on more specifically. As for the rest, when it comes to friendlies, you don’t think much about the opponent and focus on your own home court.”
