Preparations for Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena have begun, with their first training session of the season tomorrow afternoon at the PalaParenti in Santa Croce sull’Arno. The final details have been finalized, preparations are complete, and everything is ready for the start of training.

The Tuscan team boasts many new faces, and the club structure is also new following the joint venture agreed upon and implemented this summer between Siena and Santa Croce sull’Arno. Leading the team is Coach Francesco Petrella, former assistant coach in Modena and Trento, who will work with a largely revamped group. Last year’s Siena roster includes opposite hitter Gabriele Nelli, spiker Luigi Randazzo, and middle blocker Victorio Ceban. All three have embraced the new Emma Villas Codyeco Lupi Siena project, born with the ambition of performing well and achieving excellent results in the upcoming season in Serie A2.

In the control room there will be Simone Porro, formerly of Reggio Emilia, fresh from the important and formative experience this summer at the Under 19 World Cup, played with the blue jersey in Uzbekistan and finished in fifth place, also with a lot of regret and bitterness for the match lost against France (who then became world champions in the category) in the quarter-finals
