Davide Marra becomes the reference in terms of athletic preparation and sector manager for ErmGroup Volley Altotevere. A 360-degree commitment, therefore, for a figure who retains the prerogatives of a professional in the world of volleyball after an absolutely respectable curriculum on the taraflex: 404 appearances in the three main categories (265 in the current Superleague, 88 in A2 and 51 in A3), not counting the years of B; 9 seasons in the top division, 5 participations in the Champions League, a Challenge Cup and an Italian Cup won with Piacenza, an Italian Cup of A2 with Vibo Valentia; a championship final in 2013, again with Piacenza and over 40 matches with the Italian national team between the world championship, the European championship and the World League. Arriving in San Giustino in the summer of 2021, Marra played one year in Serie B with ErmGroup and two in the Serie A3 Credem Banca championship: his last match of his competitive career was on 7 April 2024 in Palmi, in the return leg of the first round of the play-offs. Marra, 41, has a degree in motor sciences with a master’s degree in prevention and rehabilitation activities and will once again be able to count on Mirko Monaldi as an assistant athletic trainer. He will also be an assistant coach together with the first coach, Marco Bartolini, and the second, Mirko Monaldi.
