He’s no stranger to Acqui fans, nor to local and national volleyball enthusiasts. Having been a permanent member of the management team since last year, Stefano Moro will be the Sporting Director starting in the 2026-27 season. With a long volleyball career spanning over twenty years, beginning and ending in his hometown of Novi Ligure, where he also serves as councilor, Moro brings an immense amount of experience as a top-level opposite hitter, having played for fifteen years in Serie A1 and Serie A2 with prestigious clubs such as Cuneo, Verona, Bassano, Catania, Castellana Grotte, Bologna, and Ravenna.
The new Sporting Director made his debut with enthusiasm, immediately outlining the guidelines for his new corporate journey: “Starting this year, I will officially take on this role within the club. I will continue to lend a hand with the same commitment as always, offering my support to President Stefano Negrini wherever possible. For me, volleyball is both passion and work, and being able to apply the experience I’ve gained over so many years on the court to this project is a stimulating challenge that I immediately accepted with great determination and pride.”
