Credem Banca’s confirmation in the White Group of the Serie A3 championship has been greeted more than positively by the entire ErmGroup Altotevere staff, and Mirko Monaldi, the team’s new head coach, is perfectly aligned. “I’d say it’s an ideal solution in terms of overall organization,” says Monaldi, “since being placed in the Blue Group would have required far more mileage, with financial consequences as well. In my area of expertise, the problems would have been “wear and tear” and intensity related to the league’s geography, which would have led to longer recovery times after away games and, consequently, a change in the work approach. To put it more substantively, the wear and tear would have been greater for the club, the organizational system, and the players. The only implications of being placed in the White Group are the match dates: some teams play at home on Saturdays, and then there are the demands that arise based on the presence of the two Sardinian teams.” On the technical level of the group, Monaldi has a vision dictated by the experience gained in the four years in which he played in A3 as Marco Bartolini’s “second.”
