Another piece has been added to the Avimec Modica roster. The Modica-based club is diligently building a team that, under the guidance of coach Distefano and his staff, will compete in their eighth consecutive Serie A3 championship. They have brought young middle blocker Giacomo Russo to the team.
Born in Vico Equense, the 2005-born midfielder, 200 centimeters tall, arrives in Modica after representing Gaia Energy Napoli last season. During his young career in Serie A3, in addition to Napoli, he also played for BCC Tecbus Castellana in the 2024/2025 season, while the previous season he played in Serie A2 with Kamas Lamipel Santa Croce.
His arrival in Sicily is a golden opportunity to raise the bar and contribute to the Biancoazzurri cause whenever the “Galletti” coach calls upon him.
