Delta Volley Porto Viro’s transfer window has closed with a promising signing. Emanuele Tassoni, born in 2007 and 187 centimeters tall, joins as Lorenzo Sperotto’s assistant setter. Last season, the new black-and-fuchsia setter played for Mo.Re Volley Reggio Emilia, dividing his time between Serie B and youth teams.
A true Bolognese, Tassoni developed his skills with his hometown team. He began his sporting career with Pallavolo Bologna, making a name for himself right from the youth levels. Awarded best setter at the Emilia-Romagna Territories Trophy in the 2022/2023 season, the following year he finished as regional runner-up in the Under-17 category and qualified for the National Finals, also receiving the award for best setter at the Regional Finals. In the same season, he won the individual award for best setter at the prestigious Bussinello Trophy and participated in the Regions Trophy with the Emilia-Romagna team.
