From May 23 to 25, the Final Eight of the Del Monte Boy League, the official competition of the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, will take place in Fano. Among the protagonists will also be the Under 14 team of the Kioene Pallavolo Padova Academy, which is preparing to live a high-level experience against the best teams in Italy. Coach Federica Marchesan analyzes the path of the black and white team and the expectations for this important phase of the season.
Coach Marchesan, being among the best eight teams in Italy is an important result. What value does it have for the group?
“It certainly brings a lot of enthusiasm and raises morale, not only for us coaches but above all for the boys, who have worked hard for an entire season to achieve certain goals. Being among the top eight is a source of great satisfaction and a great honor for all of us”.
How would you describe the team’s path so far?
“It was a tortuous, uphill journey, with many ups and downs. We had to work hard on various aspects, both emotional and technical, but I think the team has grown a lot this year. It was a season full of satisfactions”.
From 23 to 25 May you will be in Fano for the Final Eight of the Boy League. What kind of competition do you expect?
“It will certainly be a high-level tournament. Being among the top eight in Italy, every match will be a battle.
