With the end of the preliminary round dedicated to the SuperLega teams and the one that saw the Serie A2 and Serie A3 teams as protagonists, the nine teams that have qualified for the Del Monte® Finale Junior League, now in its 32nd edition and dedicated to Under 20 athletes, have been announced.
For the second consecutive year, Bologna will be the venue for the event, with the nine clubs playing in the Emilian capital from May 30th to June 2nd: the two venues will be in San Lazzaro di Savena and Ozzano dell’Emilia. After last year’s success, with the victory of Consar Ravenna in the Final against Itas Trentino, the Emilian city is preparing for the most important youth volleyball event dedicated to the Serie A clubs on the peninsula.
These are the nine teams that qualified for the Bologna event: Itas Trentino, Mint Vero Volley Monza, Kioene Padova and Valsa Group Modena (4 SuperLega teams qualified by right based on the 2023/24 Junior League ranking); Cucine Lube Civitanova and Cisterna Volley (2 SuperLega teams qualified after the elimination phase); Consar Ravenna, Romeo Sorrento and Negrini CTE Acqui Terme (3 Serie A2 and Serie A3 teams qualified after the second elimination phase).
The event is organized by Lega Pallavolo Serie A in collaboration with the Pallavolo Bologna company.
