Similar paths for another derby during the holiday season. CUS Cagliari and Sarroch arrive at Sunday’s derby at 6:00 PM after celebrating Christmas with some bitterness left over from the last weekend of Serie A3.
After the 3-0 defeat in Cavallaro Maggiore against Savigliano, Lorenzo Simeon’s CUS team returns home, where they have always picked up points, to end the year on a high note with the most anticipated match in the city.
“We prepared as simply as possible. I’m convinced that applying too much pressure doesn’t help, so we took it calmly,” explained coach Simeon on the eve of the derby against Sarlux Sarroch. “Last night we got together and celebrated a bit. During the week we trained and tried to do our thing, understanding how to best play against them.”
