The first, eagerly awaited test “away from home” for Domotek Volley’s new Amaranto season is approaching. Captain Laganà and his teammates, under the guidance of coach Antonio Polimeni, will take to the court on Saturday, September 28th, for the Cois Quadrangular Tournament in Sarroch, Sardinia. The two-day tournament will open with a match between CUS Cagliari and Mantova, while the Amaranto will face Serie A3 team Sarroch in the semifinals.

A few days before the away match, the comments of new middle blocker Andrea Innocenzi outline the path of a team that is warming up with ambition and pragmatism. “We’re coming off the test against Pallavolo Crotone. It was a sort of first test match at the start of the season,” Innocenzi begins. “We started well. The important thing wasn’t just the result, but putting to the test the few but important things we’d discussed over the past few weeks. As the coach said, it was right to keep the spirits somewhat warm, not yet hot, but there was still a lot of desire.”
