An emotional ceremony, the one that took place in the Sala del Consiglio Regionale, Federica Monteleone, where Cesare Pellegrino, sports director of Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, was awarded the prestigious San Giorgio d’Oro by the Anassilaos Association. An award that celebrates a long career full of successes, but also of sacrifices and dedication.
“Very important moments in my life, which close a circle that is still very open”, Pellegrino began, visibly moved. “”A life for sport is demanding”, this is the dedication of the award, it is something demanding and contains the whole meaning of my story”, he continued. “A career made of emotions, satisfactions, but also of many sacrifices and personal commitments. It was a great passion, which then became a job, and it allowed me to meet extraordinary people, to travel, to compare myself with different realities. It was a school of life”.
