Sports cycles, as we know, open and close, often driven by results or the natural conclusion of employment relationships.
And a new cycle is the one that Gabbiano Farmamed Mantova will begin in the 2025-2026 season: given the new coaching leadership, entrusted to the expert hands of Andrea Radici, there will be ten changes within the squad, with many of the Gabbiano core members continuing their careers elsewhere.
In the spikers department, Riccardo Scaltriti and Raul Parolari are leaving, heading to Reggio Emilia (in Serie A3) and Catania (in Serie A2), respectively. Three middle blockers are leaving: Andrea Miselli, who will continue his career at Spezzano in Serie B, Jacopo Ferrari, also headed to Serie B at Sassuolo, and Luca Tauletta, promoted to the first team at Modena Volley.
There’s also a shakeup in the setter department, with Niccolò Depalma, who will play in Serie B with Volley Benacus next year, and Mattia Catellani, who has returned to his home team, Reggio Emilia (in Serie A3). Also saying goodbye are opposite hitter Murilo Massafeli (who will play in Serie B with Bassano) and the two liberos Andrea Marini (his third signing between Mantua and Reggio Emilia) and Marco Montarulo (who’s on sabbatical).
