At the Vhv Arena in Belluno, where ErmGroup Altotevere will begin their fourth consecutive Serie A3 Credem Banca season on Sunday, October 19th, he will be captain of a senior team for the first time. Belluno might not be at its best yet, just like we aren’t: the pre-season is always an unknown.” The Veneto “rhinos,” who confirmed Marzo Marzola on the bench, no longer need any introduction. “We know his players because we’ve all faced them,” Biffi recalls, “albeit in different years: Giannotti, a master opposite hitter, was in San Donà di Piave last year; Marsili was the setter in Macerata two seasons ago, as was Corrado, the spiker who gave us the runaround against Palmi. Libero Hoffer was also excellent; they came up through the ranks in Serie A3, and I faced him on the other side of the net when we were still in the youth teams.
