Davide Gardini, a spiker born in 1999, will be back on the court wearing the Sonepar Padova jersey in the next SuperLega 2025_26 season. After a year spent in the Milanese capital, Gardini returns to wear the colors of the Padua club, where he had already played in the 2022_23 and 2023_24 seasons.
Gardini is a familiar face in the city in the shadow of the Saint. After his experience in the United States wearing the Brigham Young University jersey between 2017 and 2022, he made his debut in the top Italian championship with Padua, where he played two seasons before arriving in Milan in the last SuperLega Championship.
“I am very happy to return – Davide began –. The first emotion is happiness, the feeling of returning to a place where I was more than happy. The Padua environment has given me so much satisfaction and many opportunities, so I am really happy”.
Looking ahead to the season, Gardini has clear ideas: “I expect a season that, from some points of view, will be really intense. The SuperLega Championship is always very demanding, but I will do it with greater serenity than when I first arrived in Padua, because I already know the environment. There will certainly be some surprises, but there will also be a lot to have fun with and to get satisfaction from. Likewise, there will be more complicated moments that we will all have to face together.”
