With the closure of the Volleyball Transfer Market and the official announcement of the schedule by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A, JV Gioia del Colle has finally learned its path in the 2025/26 Credem Banca Serie A3 championship.
But in the last few hours, the club and the entire city of Gioia del Colle have been united in grief over the tragic passing of young Federico, brother of our member Gabriele Moschetti. This loss has deeply affected the community, leaving a deep mark on the Biancorossi family as well. The club, the coaching staff, and the entire team extend their heartfelt condolences to the young athlete’s family, embracing them in silence and out of respect for those who share such profound grief.
Coach Sandro Passaro, deeply attached to the community and the Biancorossi club, opened his statement with a thought for Federico: “These are special days for Gioia del Colle, which is a small, authentic community, where when such painful tragedies occur, we come together and support one another. There are no words for what happened to little Federico. I join in the family’s grief and thank them for the example of generosity they have given us.”
