Aurispa Links per la Vita is getting stronger: the signings of central Lorenzo Grottoli and libero Francesco Donati have been officially announced, two young players but with a considerable amount of experience. Sports director Antonio Scarascia therefore continues to add important players to the roster that coach Ambrosio will lead in the next A3 championship.

Grottoli, born in 2000 (194 cm tall), spent his youth years in Ravenna, his hometown. In a short time he was confirmed as a stable member of the first team, until his debut in the Superleague in the 2020/21 season. Experiences in A3 followed, with Porto Maggiore and Bologna respectively, before returning to Ravenna, with whom he played the last two A2 championships.

Here’s what drove him to embrace the cause of Aurispa Links per la Vita: “In accepting the proposal, the trust that coach Ambrosio showed in me was decisive, combined with the solidity of the company, which has been a stable and serious reality in the Serie A3 championship for years.”

“I want to show that I am a mature and reliable player – he added -, someone you can count on at all times, both on and off the field. I hope to make the experience I have gained in recent years available to the team, especially in the last two seasons in Serie A2 in Ravenna, where I had the opportunity to grow a lot and enrich my technical and personal baggage.”
