He arrived as a young player with great hopes, with three seasons of Serie A behind him, and, little by little with a great work ethic and performances that have consecrated him as one of the best middle blocker in Serie A2. After the best season ever for Tinet Prata with the primacy in the Regular Season and reaching the Play Off Semifinal and the Final of the Coppa Italia, leading the team with the captain’s stripes, Nicolò Katalan has decided to renew his loyalty to the yellow and blue cause and therefore in 2025 – 2026 he will play for the sixth consecutive season with the Tinet Prata jersey.
“The feelings about the renewal are definitely positive,” says the middle blocker from Trieste. “This season we have had some positive performances and had a great journey. Having the chance to renew is definitely nice because it shows the trust that the club has in me. We have learned together to structure ourselves better and the results have been seen on the pitch. Then it is also up to us players to understand how far we can go. And all this with the fantastic backdrop of our fans who fill the arena every Sunday and create an incredible atmosphere.”
