Domenico Laganà, captain of Domotek Volley, comments with satisfaction on the path of his team and looks with confidence to the semifinal.
“Super satisfied!” Domenico Laganà, captain of Domotek Volley, doesn’t mince his words after the 2-0 over Lecce that projects the Reggio team into the semifinal. A victory that confirms the growth of a group that, despite the difficulties, has shown character and quality.
“What I was saying at the beginning of the year – Laganà recalls – was that this group, with work, could become a great team. Today I can consider myself more than satisfied, because we are. We have demonstrated it even with some important absences: Esposito, Stufano, De Santis, Zappoli… many injuries that however have not limited our results. In fact, we are in the semifinal!”
Among the best matches of the year, the captain cites the challenge of Lecce: “We all played well, it was a great match. In these play-off rounds, a victory like this doesn’t come thanks to the individual, but to the collective. I played a good match, especially in the tie-break, but when you have that desire to win that pushes you to the next round, you try to do something more, as all my teammates did.”
The real strength of this Domotek, however, was the ability to react to adversity: “The best thing of the year was seeing Pugliatti in place of Esposito, Murabito for Stufano, Lopetrone for De Santis, and others. Everyone did very well, and this is the greatness of the group.”
