One of the few remaining flags in sports in general, and in volleyball in particular, will continue to fly above the Cantù sky. The libero and Captain Luca Butti continues his experience in the Campi Reali Cantù jersey, and it will be his seventeenth consecutive season in this club, the fourteenth in Serie A2 Credem Banca, and the second with the “pecetta” under his jersey number.
“I am very happy that Luca has agreed to continue his adventure that has lasted until now, in his seventeenth season – says President Ambrogio Molteni –. He has been the team Captain since last year after Dario Monguzzi retired, and this season he will have to give a push to the many young people we have in our team. I am very confident that he will be the glue of this new group, that will make us have fun, and we hope to get new satisfactions”.
