A real marathon Game 2 between Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza and Itas Trenino took place last Sunday in a sold out PalabancaSport and won by the Dolomites in the tie break in front of the public after two hours and twenty-seven minutes of play.
As in Game 1, Game 2 also ended in a tie break and also on this occasion among the red and whites of coach Ljubo Travica Stephen Maar showed off his skills with 18 points, third best scorer of the evening behind Alessandro Michieletto with 24 points and Kamil Rychlicki with 19 on the scoresheet. Also good among the red and whites was the other wing Efe Mandiraci with 16 points and the opposite Yuri Romanò also with 16 points while among the middle blockers on the field the best for points scored was the red and white Robertlandy Simon with 14 points and the other red and white Gianluca Galassi with 10 points of which 5 scored at the block.
For Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza there were a total of 4 winning serves against 25 errors, 7 of which in the first and second set and 6 in the fourth. Only one wrong serve in the tie break during which, instead, the red and whites committed four errors in attack.
Yuri Romanò in game 2 reached the milestone of 500 winning attacks considering only the Play Offs, the fastest set of the entire weekend was the second between Piacenza and Trento which lasted 27′ and was won by Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza by 25-15.
