Verona Volley is happy to announce the entry into the technical staff of Matteo De Cecco, who will serve as assistant coach alongside Coach Fabio Soli.
A professional appreciated at national and international level, Tex – nickname that has always characterized him in the world of volleyball – brings with him a prestigious technical background, starting from the work done within the staffs of the senior national teams of Italy (2013-2014), Germany (2017-2021) and Slovenia (2015-2016 and 2022-2024). For the coach from Friuli, this is a return to the banks of the Adige, as he had been in Verona from 2011 to 2017 with the Veronese club of the time.
The words of Matteo De Cecco: “I am very happy to become part of this project. Verona is an ambitious place, which lives on enthusiasm and the desire to grow every day. I can’t wait to start working with the staff, the team and all those who are part of this environment that has been my home for many years in the past. It will be a demanding but stimulating season: I am charged and ready to give my best.”
