Change in the technical staff at Sir Susa Vim Perugia: Michael Angeletti arrives to process the statistics and supervise the numbers of the Block Devils, who succeeds Patrick Bandini in the role of scoutman. He comes from Marotta di Mondolfo, a small town on the Marche coast. He is 32 years old, has a degree in sports science and volleyball, which has now become his job, has been his passion since the age of 8, when he started playing.
He started coaching nine years ago in his hometown club and then joined Virtus Volley Fano, which rose to A2 last season. In this club he had the opportunity to grow and establish himself as a coach and scoutman. In fact, he started by coaching the youth sector, and then moved, four years ago, to the First Team, first as a scoutman and then last season, the one just ended, with the dual role of assistant coach and scoutman.
«The call from Perugia was certainly an unexpected and beautiful call! When one of the best teams in the world calls you, it is certainly an exciting thing. Being able to work with the best players in the world, with Angelo Lorenzetti and his staff, fills me with pride: I can’t wait to get started, I’m enthusiastic about this new adventure and I will try to give my contribution to reach the goals that the company has set for itself”.
