“We’re starting again with the enthusiasm of the fans and a solid group.” Mirko Munafò, confirmed as “scoutman” and assistant coach of Domotek Volley Reggio Calabria, takes stock of last season and previews the new season. “The support during the playoffs was incredible,” he says, “and we retained the cornerstones of the team: captain Laganò, Lazzaretto, Zappoli, and liberos Max Lopetrone and Saverio De Santis.”
Munafò used the summer to grow professionally: “I earned my second coaching degree and perfected my use of Lega Volley’s statistics program.
With Nuccio Vitetta, we also achieved excellent results in the youth sector, leading the Under 13s to the S3 regional final and increasing the number of young athletes.”
Regarding the new signings, the scout is optimistic: “We’ve signed top-notch players, some with experience in higher divisions. Saitta, the new setter, in particular, is someone we can all learn from, including us coaching staff.”
