This is his fifth consecutive season as technical director of ErmGroup Altotevere. Having arrived in the summer of 2021, Marco Bartolini (pictured) spent his last season in Serie B and three seasons in the Serie A3 championship with Credem Banca. These have undoubtedly enhanced his coaching career, culminating in reaching the playoff semifinals in April, the club’s highest achievement to date. And for the fifth consecutive year, he will have Mirko Monaldi as his closest collaborator, not forgetting Davide Marra, his former player and assistant coach and athletic trainer since the summer of 2024.

“I expected it,” the 51-year-old coach from Città di Castello begins, “but in some ways I can say it will be even more exciting to start by immediately crossing paths with the big teams, because we’ll be able to understand the nature of the White Group, which boasts a superior technical level and also seems to be more evenly matched towards the top. Perhaps on paper, the Blue Group has two teams clearly above the others, but the gap with the others seems more marked to me. In ours, on the other hand, there are Belluno, Reggio Emilia, Acqui Terme, Savigliano, and even Mantua, all tough teams. I’m less familiar with the newcomers Trebaseleghe and Mirandola, although the term “newly promoted” doesn’t apply to the latter.
