A week after the resumption of training, the Block Devils continue to train under the guidance of Perugia coaching staff, preparing for the numerous matches of the new season, which will see them involved on all fronts. Today focused on gym work and group sessions with the ball on the Taraflex. All the new Block Devils are already available, following the arrival, at the end of last week, of young opposite hitter Gabrijel Cvanciger. Among the veterans, Oleh Plotnytskyi, who has become one of the team’s icons, has remained training with the group since the postseason and was ready immediately for this August restart. Having arrived in Perugia in the 2019-2020 season, when he was still very young and had only two seasons in the Superleague championship under his belt, the Ukrainian spiker has grown physically and technically at President Gino Sirci’s club, where he’s preparing for his seventh consecutive season, having won 11 trophies in a black and white jersey: “Let’s try to increase the number of trophies a bit! Let’s prepare well, we started a week ago and it’s ‘a lot’, there’s a good atmosphere, we’re working well, we’ve started off on the right foot, now we just need to improve physically and technically, then we’ll see about everything else on the court.”
