Samuel Onwuelo’s journey with the Plus Volleyball Sabaudia jersey continues. The club has confirmed the opposite hitter born in 1997, 198 centimeters tall, for another season, the third consecutive in the Pontine Club, renewing the bond with an environment that, season after season, has been able to transform itself into something more than a simple sporting stage for the Italian attacker born in Lagos, Nigeria. The team of the new coach Stefano Beltrame will have at its disposal all the energy of the opposite hitter who boasts numerous experiences in the top national series and in Sabaudia he has been appreciated for his great attachment to the jersey, demonstrating on the field a consistently notable performance.

“For me it wasn’t just a question of volleyball but I chose to stay in Sabaudia because here I feel part of something authentic – explained Samuel, who in his career has played 10 seasons in Serie A, four of which in Superlega, collecting 90 victories so far and the success in the Italian Supercup in the 2016/2017 season when he wore the Modena jersey – Over time I have developed a deep bond with this reality, with the people who experience it every day and with a sense of belonging that goes beyond the field. I wanted to give continuity to this path because I believe in a serious, ambitious project, which still has a lot to tell: I am grateful for the trust that has been renewed in me and I am ready, once again, to give everything. See you at the sports hall”.
