A very important move by DS Vullo who gives Macerata an eclectic, talented and very experienced setter. The Venetian Matteo Pedron, with his number 7 jersey, will be the new director of Banca Macerata Fisiomed next season!
Matteo, originally from Padua where he was born in 1992, boasts a truly long and enviable career path. His story begins, volleyball-wise, within the youth sector of Pallavolo Padova where he acquires the foundations for a future as a setter. Then comes the first call to A2 with the team of the Club Italia Aeronautica Militare Roma which sanctions his entry into the volleyball that counts and which will also lead him to find space in his Padua, Matera, Castellana Grotte, Ortona, Tuscania, Lagonegro and many others. After twelve consecutive seasons in A2 – with the last three years spent with Cuneo and Cantù -, Matteo gives himself his first experience in Superleague and he does it last year with Sonepar Padova with which he reaches 9th place.
