Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza continues its preparations for the new season, which will see the red and white team compete in the Credem Banca SuperLega championship and the CEV Volleyball Cup in Europe.
Coach Dante Boninfante’s team will be at the center of the third joint training session scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, September 26, at 5:30 pm. The PalabancaSport will host Gruppo Consoli Sferc Brescia, an ambitious A2 team coached by Roberto Zambonardi. The team includes former red and white middle blocker Alessandro Tondo, libero Salvatore Rossini, and spiker Oreste Cavuto. Alberto Cisolla, one of the icons of volleyball, is in charge of Public Relations.
Still without Gianluca Galassi, Domenico Pace, and Efe Mandiraci in the Philippines with their respective national teams for the ongoing World Cup, and Lukas Bergmann, who is currently expected from Brazil, ten players from the first team roster—Robert Andringa (spiker), Alessandro Bovolenta (opposite hitter), Paolo Porro (setter), Dragan Travica (setter), Francesco Comparoni (middle hitter), Henri Emmanuel Leon (opposite hitter), Luca Loreti (libero), Joris Seddik (middle hitter), José Miguel Gutierrez (spiker), and Robertlandy Simon (middle hitter)—are available to coach Dante Boninfante for tomorrow’s joint training session with Brescia. They will be joined by several players from the youth sector.
