He’s no longer the team’s vice-captain, as per the rotation, but he remains one of ErmGroup Altotevere’s key players, one of those who earn their stripes on the pitch through performance and consistency. This is the case of Augusto Quarta (pictured), a Bologna center back who arrived in the summer of 2022, who has now become so familiar with San Giustino and the surrounding area that he considers the valley a sort of adopted homeland. He’s evidently enjoyed himself outside the arena as well, and the club’s ambitions for the upcoming Credem Banca Serie A3 championship were a strong motivation for him to stay in the white and blues.
