The promotion of young talents continues at Negrini CTE Acqui Terme. The company is proud to announce the promotion to the first team of Filippo Sarasino, middle blocker, born in 2006, who after a year of growth in the Acqui youth sector is ready to get involved in the Serie A3 roster.
Filippo, originally from Carisio, in the province of Vercelli, took his first steps in volleyball in Biella, where he grew up as a sport before arriving in Acqui Terme in the 2024-2025 season. A path of constant growth that has seen him as a protagonist especially with the Serie C, but which has also given him the opportunity to appear in the first team already on some occasions.
“It was a busy year, quite long also because it was my first year away from home – says Filippo – I grew up in Biella in the Pallavolo Biellese school, then I came to Acqui last year. I worked hard for most of the year with the Serie C and also with the Under 19. I had the opportunity to train often with the Serie A and to participate in some pre-season tournaments: for me it was really important.”
The promotion to the first team came as a pleasant surprise for the young talent: “This call to the first team was a unique emotion in my opinion, an opportunity that was given to me and that I want to make the most of. I am sure that I will do my best and that I will have the opportunity to learn a lot from stronger players.”
