Sviluppo Sud Catania has entered its second week of preparations for the new season.

General Manager Massimo D’Onofrio took stock of the situation at PalaCatania, the venue that will host all home matches for the upcoming Serie A2 season, and spoke about the start of the training and the prospects for the red and blue club.

“The roster we’ve built is what we wanted and what we had in mind. After a week of training, we can say that the feeling is very positive: the players immediately showed great willingness and, above all, excellent understanding on a human and character level. This is an aspect that is as important to us as technical quality, because we believe that the cohesion of the group is the foundation for facing a long and competitive season. We have no regrets about the transfer market. We started late and faced many difficulties, amidst initial uncertainty and doubts, but what we’ve managed to achieve truly represents the best possible outcome. I’m not calling it a miracle, but we’ve certainly assembled a group that reflects our ambitions. We’re satisfied.”
