There are young men who speak little. They choose their words sparingly, like coins not to be wasted. But then, once they step onto the court, they become an open novel, made of powerful attacks, arms that whip the air, and balls that hit the ground like exclamation points. One of these is Leonardo Michielon: nineteen years old, originally from Padua, he is one of the most intriguing newcomers to Belluno Volley.
NATIONAL FINALS – His story begins in the city of the Saint, within the fertile Pallavolo Padova youth academy, where every season transforms into a stage for national youth finals. It’s there that Leonardo learned to raise the bar, to compete with the best, to understand that talent alone isn’t enough. Dedication, discipline, and the ability to thrive under pressure are needed. Now, for the first time, he’s making the leap to Serie A3. A new, unexplored territory: “The initial impact is undoubtedly positive,” he says, “even with the city: Belluno is very peaceful. I’ve joined a high-profile team, and this will be useful for measuring my level. And for improving.”
