Stefano Patriarca didn’t hesitate to accept the task of wearing the armband of the man who, on and off the field, embodies our values.

After a successful season in A2, which earned us a well-deserved relegation and qualification for the A2 Italian Cup, we’re back in A3:

The time for disappointment over being excluded from the A2 championship is over; we’re left with the knowledge that we can thrive, both as a team and as a club. We have deep ties to the local area, so rather than move the team to Naples, our President has decided to take a step back and start again in A3 with the unconditional support of the management, sponsors, and players who have decided to embrace our project. As captain, it will be my responsibility to forge a team with a warrior mentality, ready to do anything to take back what was taken from us.

From the names circulating, it will be a challenging southern group, and Folgore will be:

The A3 league is rising in level year after year; it’s no longer just a hotbed of talent but also a hub of ambitious clubs building rosters with top-tier players to aspire to the A2 league. Our Folgore will be no different; we have experience, youth, and players eager to prove themselves, and we’ve built a physically imposing team.

As with the A2 season and the A3 treble, the warmth and drive of PalAtigliana will be crucial:

The decision to stay in Sorrento, giving up the dream of the A2 league, which we’ve earned and defended, is tied precisely to the love and passion that PalaAtigliana gives us every Sunday. Balconata Massa and the Crustiffs are part of our daily lives; they are fantastic people who help us not only by supporting us on the field but also by making us feel at ease in the community, and this goes beyond simple cheering. Our people have always pushed us to push our limits and I’m sure it will be the same next season!
