Viridex Sabaudia continues its commitment to continuity and confirms center Armando De Vito for the 2026/2027 season. This will be the Roman player’s sixth consecutive season with the Sabaudia jersey, a journey that began in 2021 and has now become an important part of his career. Born in 2000, 202 centimeters tall, De Vito is a key figure in the locker room and one of the players who knows the Pala Vitaletti environment best. His permanence confirms the club’s desire to maintain a solid foundation of experience and identity within a group that is taking shape ahead of the upcoming Serie A3 championship.

“I’m in my sixth year here in Sabaudia, and I’ve truly put down roots here,” admits the center. “I feel a great sense of belonging to this club and this city that has become my home: last year, we reached the playoffs and the Coppa Italia Final Four thanks to the hard work and great unity of the group. Despite a small roster, we managed to achieve significant results because we all had a common goal and direction.

Last year, the team achieved two significant milestones: qualifying for the playoffs and making the historic appearance in the Coppa Italia Serie A3 Final Four, results achieved despite the difficulties faced during the season. Looking ahead to the new season, De Vito sees exciting prospects for the group forming around new coach Michele Totire.
