The final days of spring provided the backdrop for the customary farewells at Volley Savigliano to the players who will no longer be part of the first team roster for the 2026/27 season.

The white-and-blue club announces the termination of the sporting contracts of: Mauro Sacripanti, Luca Rossato, Andrea Carlevaris, Andrea Schiro, Andrea Galaverna, Riccardo Ballan, Paolo Bonola, Giacomo Guiotto, Roberto Girotto, Andrea Bacco, and, most recently, Paolo Rabbia.

“2026/27 will be a year of huge changes, with a view to rejuvenating the roster,” explains Sporting Director Francesco Dutto. “As a result, we’re saying goodbye to so many young players and friends this summer. A sincere thank you goes out to all of them for their professionalism, but I’d like to say a few words in particular about Paolo Rabbia and Andrea Galaverna. It’s difficult to talk about the former, because he’s been the cornerstone of Savigliano volleyball for the past 20 years and knows exactly what we think and feel about him. I’m sure that whatever role he chooses, the doors of Volley Savigliano will always be open. The same goes for “Gala,” a magnificent person who has always committed himself tirelessly to the cause, even sacrificing himself as a libero. I can only thank them so much, both as teammates and as great friends.”
