After confirming coach Enzo Distefano’s reappointment as Avimec Modica’s coach, the management of the blue-and-white team, in the spirit of continuity, has also confirmed the renewal of Manuel Benassi’s contract. For the third consecutive year, Benassi will be Enzo Distefano’s right-hand man in the upcoming Serie A3 season, where the “Galletti” will be competing in the Blue Group.

This reappointment was strongly desired by Enzo Distefano, but also by the club, which sees the Argentine coach as an important role model for the entire club, which strives to improve season after season, and not just on the field.

“Being reconfirmed by the club,” explains Manuel Benassi, “and especially by Luca Leocata, is a source of pride for me. The fact that the entire management team places unconditional trust in me makes me proud and, at the same time, gives me the peace of mind that allows me to work to my full potential. The harmony we’ve managed to create within the coaching staff over the years,” he continues, “in my opinion is one of our best assets, and I hope to continue growing in this regard. For me, next season will be my third at Avimec Modica, and my goal, but also that of coach Distefano and the other people who will join us, has been and will always be to improve every member of our team. We will start again with renewed ambitions; the club has shown courage in changing and reviewing certain situations with the intention of continually raising the bar, a very clear signal that they have managed to transmit throughout the entire environment. I am very happy to be able to continue alongside Enzo Distefano and try to do our best to This team and this club. My respect for Coach Distefano,” he emphasizes, “is ever-growing, and this allows me to work with complete peace of mind and always with the highest motivation. This year too,” Manuel Benassi concludes, “we will all give it our all to repay the management’s trust with satisfactory results, and I truly hope that the public and our fans will also respond in the best possible way, and I hope we can make their support felt at the “PalaRizza” as they always have.”
