The relationship between Simone Mocci and Volley Sarroch is one of affection and respect.
Having joined the Gialloblù team just over 18, he’s preparing to embark on his ninth season in our colors, confirming himself as one of the most authentic and representative figures of our journey.
Both on and off the court, Simone has always embodied values ​​that transcend his role on the taraflex: tenacity, a spirit of sacrifice, constant dedication, and a profound respect for teammates, opponents, staff, and all the people who contribute to the life of the club every day. A quiet but invaluable point of reference, an athlete capable of putting the good of the team above all else and approaching each season with the same passion as on day one.
“Next season will mark nine championships spent in Sarroch. I thank the club for the trust they continue to place in me, both technically and personally. It’s gratifying to be part of a project that grows in ambition year after year and continues to aim ever higher. The club’s ambition and the special relationship I’ve built with my teammates, and with everyone who’s part of this great family, are a constant motivation to improve. An important season awaits us, with a top-notch staff and group. Now is the time to recharge, but I can’t wait to get back to the gym and begin this new journey. A special thought goes out to our fans: seeing the arena increasingly full was one of the most beautiful feelings of last season. Their support has allowed us to reach goals that otherwise would have been impossible. We will need them again, and I can only thank them for always being there.
