A special occasion to meet up, take stock of a long and intense season and look forward to the next challenges with confidence. Yesterday, Monday 28 April, the convivial evening was held to celebrate the journey of the first team in this SuperLega season. The event represented a moment of recognition and thanks addressed to partners and institutions, key players in the club’s journey. The salvation goal was achieved, and with it also the reaching of the semi-finals of the play off for 5th place, a result that testifies to the solidity of the black and white sports and social project. The event was held at the Ex-Foro, on the suggestive terrace overlooking Prato della Valle, in the heart of the City of Padua.
In addition to the players of the first team and the technical staff, numerous black and white partners and representatives of the institutional world took part in the meeting.
“I would definitely talk about an achieved goal: we had set ourselves safety as a goal and we achieved it – said Giancarlo Bettio – but not only that: we also did better than last season. With this semifinal for fifth place, in my opinion, we went beyond expectations. Our strength is the club itself: the group, the staff, the attention to every detail and, above all, the unity. We manage to do a lot with little, because we pay great attention to everything. We take care of the athlete even on a personal level. This is, in my opinion, our real strength.
