Tomorrow, Saturday 3 May at 5:30 pm, at the PalaPanini, Sonepar Padova will face Valsa Group Modena away in the play-off semi-final for 5th place. The match will be broadcast live on DAZN and VBTV.
After the three-set victory against the Scaligeri, the black and white team led by coach Cuttini is preparing to face a new high-intensity commitment, with the same spirit that has characterized this final phase of the season.
“On Saturday in Modena, the spirit with which the team will approach the match will be the same that has accompanied us throughout this period and that allowed us to accomplish the feat against Verona – declared coach Cuttini on the eve of the match -. This sextet has earned the opportunity on the field to play an important match like this semi-final, and will do so with a great desire to show off, to compete and to try to accomplish another feat, knowing that it will be complicated”.
Sonepar Padova will meet Modena for the fourth time during this SuperLega season. “Modena is an opponent we know well. The aspect that has made the most difference so far has been the service: they have often put us in difficulty in reception, creating an imbalance that then affects the rest of our game. That is where we will have to try to do our best, because without balance between service and reception it becomes difficult to hold the comparison”, added the coach from Padua.
