The Under 14 team of Gas Sales Bluenergy Volley Piacenza, climbs to the third step of the podium at the Del Monte® Boy League – 26th edition of the “Coppa Enrico Bazan”.
In the 3rd-4th place Final, they beat Itas Trentino, already faced in the qualifying round, by 2-0 (25-19, 25-19).
Engaged in Fano in the Final Eight, the red and white team saw their dream of winning the Italian title vanish in the Semifinal: in the morning they were beaten by Allianz Diavoli Rosa Brugherio by 2-1 (25-21, 9-25, 15-9) earning the right to play the final.
The red and white team was included in group F together with Itas Trentino, Romeo Sorrento and Kioene Padova. After the victorious debut on Friday afternoon against Itas Trentino by 2-1 (25-18, 25-21, 23-25), this morning the young red and whites beat Romeo Sorrento by 3-0 (25-12, 25-21, 25-9) and in the afternoon they beat Kioene Padova also by 3-0 (25-7, 25-22, 25-21) closing in first place with eight points in their group and getting the pass to the Semifinals where they faced the Lombard team Diavoli Rosa, second in Group G.
