Today, July 7, 2025, we celebrate the first “World Volleyball Day”, the International Day dedicated to volleyball and promoted by the International Federation (FIVB). A special anniversary that has allowed, in the run-up to today, fans from all over the world to actively demonstrate their passion for volleyball.

World Volleyball Day: why it is celebrated on July 7
In addition to sharing photos and videos on social media with the hashtag #WorldVolleyballDay, fans will have the chance to win two balls autographed by athletes who participated in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Anyone will be able to share their story and their idea about volleyball by uploading a video on the theme “How do you play volleyball your way?” (translated: What is your way of experiencing volleyball?) to the dedicated platform, recounting the first exchanges with teammates and the most curious stories. Male and female players and fans of all ages from all over the world will be able to virtually unite in celebrating their sport. The winners will be drawn by the end of August.
