In the first preliminary round of the Credem Banca A2 championship, the top-seeded match takes place tomorrow at 8:00 PM. Di Lascio: “It’s a great game to play, but not decisive. It’s a good test for us to understand where we stand.”
Just like last year: same league matchday, the first leg of the eighth round, same stadium, the Pala De Andrè, and identical standings, with Consar alone at the top and Consoli Sferc Brescia chasing a point behind. The big match is therefore set, tomorrow at 8:00 PM, refereed by Paolo Scotti di Sospiro and Andrea Clemente of Parma, and pits two teams with different objectives. Ravenna is aiming for the playoffs again this year, while the Lombardy team is attempting to advance to the Superleague, thanks to a strong squad brimming with quality, talent, and experience. Consar are also eager to avenge the two defeats they suffered last season, when Brescia was the only team to leave Goi and his teammates without a goal. “We hope this time it goes differently and with a different result,” says Saverio Di Lascio, assistant coach of Consar, “but whatever happens, it will be a great match for both teams and a great experience for the fans, who we want to give a great performance.”
